Trying to find the trails less traveled and found these two trails and combined them together for a seven mile round trip bike. The Skagit River Walk is short but has beautiful views of the Skagit River and keeps you away from the traffic of town. Once you cross under Interstate 5 and cross several roads you head down along side of the Habitat for Humanity Building to where the Kulshan Trail starts. The trail is more back in the forest with several side streets to cross. There were several fast running streams to checkout before getting to the other end to turn around. On a bike this trail is about 30 minutes one way with stops to checkout streams, wildlife and mountain views. All and all a nice day to get out of the house and away from the Black Friday Shopping Traffic.
Checkout the video of this hike by clicking on the link below or checkout over 450 trails I have done throughout Washington State and beyond on my vimeo channel at https://vimeo.com/user81914660 below.
As always get put and see this beautiful state and enjoy your hiking or biking!!
Take Care,
Mike
