Like other reports have said, most people went to the falls so once we got off to railroad grade trail it was much quieter. In fact we only met 4 or 5 groups. It just went up the hill in the forest along the river, without any chance of open views. I remember the road above the falls had good spots overlooking the mountains and valley, but we didn’t have enough time to do that loop today (the park closes at 4:45 now). The forest felt good though. Trail surface was in great condition and felt very dry except for one muddy section, but below the canopy of the evergreen trees, it was lush moss and evergreen bushes, giving us a hint of wet environment.
