The first two gates are open but the third is closed, so you will have to park at the lower parking area.
There are a lot of potholes along the road, some are big.
You will encounter snow and ice at the last two miles of the road. Unless you have good tires or all-wheel drive, you may want to reconsider this.
You can get to the lookout either by a trail or the road. Both have snow and ice. The road is completely covered in snow and the trail is partially covered in snow.
Toilet facility is open.
