This was a great hike for late November! We arrived at the trailhead around 9:15 AM. Unpaved road to the trailhead but it is well-maintained and not really any snow or ice on the way up. The trail itself did have some snow and ice, and was a bit slippery around Talapus lake, but we didn’t need micro spikes or anything and most of it was ice-free. Beautiful day and a great hike to do this time of year!
