Wanted to post a short trip report since there wasn’t a recent one. Road is in pretty great shape and any car could make it by dodging a few potholes. Upper lot was accessible but the vault toilet was locked. Icy patches started about halfway up. Microspikes are a necessity, but the snow was well packed and snowshoes were not needed today. It’s hard to beat this hike on a really clear day with views of the sound, Baker, Glacier Peak, Rainier, Adams, St Helens, Seattle, and Bellevue!
