We walked on to the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. $11.00 for me I think and under 19s are free. The fee is one way only. You don't have to pay again heading back to Edmonds.
Walked up the hill to A Quiet Place Park. It is a very small park with short trails and peekaboo views of the water. We made a loop by heading back to the ferry terminal on PUD trails. It was a beautiful day but limited scope in terms of trails up there. The trails are well maintained and cared for by locals which was nice. The maps and info posted at the trailhead was useful.
There was a line at the crepe shop so we picked up slices of pizza at Westside Pizza just off the main strip. It was good.
