Trail parking was empty for me (on a cold rainy day). The water was raging from the rain. I believe the temperature was somewhere between 41° and 45°F. The sign at the parking lot indicated the paved part of the trail is 1/5 of a mile and the whole trail (with unpaved trail) is 1/3 of a mile. I only did the paved part.
Perhaps it is because I only did the paved part, but while I could see the Dam through trees, the view wasn't anything to write home about. I think the view of the George Creek Falls from the highway 20 bridge is worth looking at, though.
