In the midst of our current deluge of water, this a safe place to experience the swollen creeks and falls with little worry about landslides. I started at the North Chuckanut Mountain parking lot. The lot was nearly full at mid morning. On the trail I met runners, bikers, horseback riders and other hikers. I took the Interurban to that soon passes by Arroyo Creek Falls just twenty feet or so off the trail and then continued on to the Chuckanut Falls trail and a spur to the falls overlook. On my return trip I dropped down to the footbridge over Chuckanut Creek which was running high and the color of chocolate with a lot of muddy sediment.
All the trails to the falls were in good condition albeit with a few muddy sections.
