Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Came out here to explore the Black Diamond area and get some solitude in the forest. Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was also a biking trail with ramps built for dirt bikes... I didn't mind too much as there weren't too many people out, but I did get a little lost wandering the meandering trails built for bikes.

If you head to the right at the first fork, you will get to an area with a lot of bike trails. There are some that are hiker friendly too, and I recommend the one that goes up and then descends to a river crossing.

It was a lovely day to explore the vast array of trails out here. There are some logging roads that go through the woods that I followed for awhile but they led to some houses under construction. I think I only explored a small minority of trails as the area apparently has over 17 miles of trails. It's a nice hidden gem.
