Lowell Riverfront Park Trail — Friday, Dec. 12, 2025

I wanted to get out but avoid the major highways so I opted for an urban trek to a neighborhood trail. I knew it would be affected but wanted to see for myself.  I have visited multiple times when the trail is flooded closer to Lowell-Larimer but this was the most flooding I had seen on the Riverside tail of the trail.  It is a good reminder that we have made good use of land for trails that otherwise would not be buildable.  Hopefully the water recedes soon!
