ROAD IMPASSIBLE - About .7 miles from Hwy 2 the road is impassible due to partial collapse. Even with a lifted Toyota Tacoma, it’s not something I’d be comfortable attempting to pass. Another .5 miles up from that is a significant wash out. Don’t think Barclay Lake is going to be accessible anytime soon.

Damage to that road doesn't surprise me at all as it's exposed to all the runoff from the scorched side of Mount Baring. Unfortunately it'll probably be years before any attempt is made to repair it.
