Trip Report

Mount Teneriffe — Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Excellent trip in the snow as Aferrenberg and I got up to the summit of Mount Teneriffe. We got started at the Teneriffe Falls trailhead at 8:50am. The trail up to the falls starts to become mostly snow covered where the switchbacks begin around 1600ft. Once at the falls we put on microspikes, and headed up the Kamikaze Trail. Around 1”-2” of snow here at the base of the Kamikaze Trail. The scramble sections that are on the ridge between 2800-3200ft can be a bit more challenging with the rocks being snow covered, so beware of that.

Up around 400 vertical ft below the summit we broke out of the trees and ran into some deep snow. This is also where we ran into the solo hike who was in front of us. From here we took turns breaking trail, and made the summit. We were joined later on by a couple of other groups as we were leaving the summit!

Great day!
