Perfect urban hike in Seattle's largest city park. Approximately 4.25 miles distance. There are many ways to do this trail and it's easy to be confused by the multitude of side trails but the signage is generally good and if you study the map and use a hiking app, that will help, but isn't essential. We heard crows, (ravens?), sea lions barking from the breakwater at Shilshole marina (light north wind carried the sound). No orcas today, but a few sea birds, the Olympic mountains in the distance. Tahoma was hiding in the clouds. Probably encounter 300 people on the trail and many friendly dogs that invited a gentle pit once they sniffed my hand and offered consent. A few muddy spots and a steep stairways, especially at the north bluff area. Quiet secret beach at the north end of the treatment plant.
