Took a stroll around Port Townsend that included stretches of this trail - lovely sunrise at the waterfront, bit stinky by the mill, a few icy patches before the middle trailhead, but overall in great shape and not muddy. All wide, with only small pinecones breaking the smoothness. Always nice to find non-cement places for a semi-urban walk!
