I started in very thick fog but once I went up the switchbacks it cleared up on the ridge. The trail is in good condition. The falls of the outflow creek from Fragrance Lake along the trail were fairly full. The lake had a bit of ice on the southeast shore.
Cleator Road had a few potholes but overall it is in good condition and any vehicle will make it through. The Gate on the road just past the parking area was open, so the trails off from the Cyrus Gates Overview should be assessable again.
