We saw this Belted Kingfisher at the Beaver Pond

We took a new year's hike around Squires Lake today.  The trail is excellent! Not too wet but enough so that the mossy trees are vividly green and lush.  Quite a bit of water flowing from the Beaver Pond to Squires Lake, and down the falls from the lake's dam.  My hiking partner is a pretty serious birder, so please enjoy these shots of a beautiful Belted Kingfisher we saw at the Beaver Pond.
