Issaquah Alps
Such a gooey Tremella

Great option for me and hiking buddy today with the unpleasant weather forecast. Trails we used were in wonderful shape. Mushrooms everywhere and streams were flowing strongly, which added to the ambiance. We lucked out and ended up with decent afternoon weather and even some peekaboo views of downtown Seattle and Bellevue. Only encountered one mountain bike. From the Central Park Trailhead we used the upper portion of Coal Mine Loop, East Fork, Sam Dog Creek, and Flowering Fir Loop. 7 miles, 900 ft gain, 3 hours, wonderful company.

Peekaboo west views from Flowering Fir. Can you spot the Space Needle?
