Sammamish River Trail — Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
a quiet winter's day along the Sammamish River Trail

Thanks to a previous trip report, we decided to take a short hike along the Sammamish River Trail. We started at the Bothell end, and hiked down past Blyth Park. We found ourselves in a muddy bog, explored a bit further, and returned. It was a short walk, ~3 miles total, but very peaceful way to end the year.

It's a level trail, not crowded, and there are bathrooms both at the Bothell parking area as well as at Blyth Park.
