Trip Report

Lord Hill Regional Park — Friday, Jan. 9, 2026

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Mt Rainier

We arrived at the North Parking Lot at 8:30 and there were only a couple other cars there.  We meandered along the Beaver Lake Pond trail to Hidden Pond, Wayne's World, Midway, Golden Eye and up to the Rock Candy viewpoint.  We were lucky as we relaxed at the viewpoint and the skies cleared up enough for views of Olympic mountains to the west, Cascade mountains to the east and, eventually Mt Rainier. This a great local trail system - just remember to bring a map.

Gps logged 5.5 miles

Loo was in good condition and stocked with TP
