Trip Report

Middle Fork Snoqualmie River — Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Arrived at the trail at 7:30, was the first car in the lot. The bathrooms are open and stocked with TP, though several rools look like an animal shredded them a bit (I recall that being an issue at this TH)

A bit of ice on the bridge crossing.

I have been to Middle Fork many times, but never actually did a good chunk of the river trail. So today I wanted to do a few miles and take in the sights.

Overall the trail is in good condition. Big shout out to whoever went though recently and logged out some recent tree falls, some of those were big and that couldn't have been easy.

Some mud on the trail.

I documented a few spots on the trail I think were impacted by the flooding in December. One drainage point needs to be rebuilt, and the tread on two other spots needs to be redone. Overall considering it's location I had expected this trail to be more heavily impacted, but for the most part it's great, just some mud.

Saw so much moss and the early views of Garfield were amazing too.

Encountered just a few parties on the trail heading out as I was getting back to the trailhead around 9.

Great hike, beautiful area, I love these woods.
