North Creek Forest, North Creek Trail & Sammamish River Trail — Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026

Decided to check out the North Creek Forest because it’s so close to home. I’m now calling it one and done. We parked at the gate on 112th and found the trail just pat the abandoned house. We climbed the main trail to the top of the ravene then headed to the right. After a while the trail petered out and we ended up backtracking, returning the way we came. I’m happy to leave this area for the coyotes.
We headed over to UW Bothell where we followed the North Creek trail to the Sammamish River trail. Other than a few ducks and the sound of the freeway, it was pretty quiet.
