Deception Pass State Park - Goose Rock — Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025

Starting from the West Beach parking lot, we picked up the North Beach Trail and followed it to the bridge. After crossing under the bridge, we went right at the first fork, the Summit Trail, instead of continuing left on the Perimeter Trail as described. No big deal, we did this Goose Rock loop counterclockwise instead of clockwise. It was a sunny, beautiful day. The views from atop Goose Rock were amazing.
