Twin Falls — Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Twin Falls is an easy hike near the Seattle/Tacoma metro area with big payoffs at every turn.

This hike is located in Olallie State Park so make sure to bring and display your Discover Pass. Two maintained pit toilets with amenities like toilet paper and hand sanitizer are located at the trailhead parking lot.

The upper falls viewpoints and connecters are closed due to flooding damage,  clearly marked. Both lower falls bridges and viewing areas are not impacted.

The hike itself is low mileage and elevation, perfect for a first hike or a recovery hike. The trail is maintained beautifully. Lots of stairs and even a bench at the various lookout points.

No snow or ice on trail when we visited.

A quick aside. When we returned to the parking lot at 10am, it was a frenzy. Two vans were dropping large groups off, and a business called 'Trailhead Saunas' was occupying a parking spot in the lot. I have never seen anything like this hiking 10 years in Washington state.

It was kinda off-putting to see a for-profit business operating on public lands, particularly when this hike is so close to cities that have spas and sauna offerings, like North Bend, Snoqualmie, and Issaquah.
