Great trail, this time I did the new trail since I completed the old trail several years ago. I got so lucky with the weather. There are about a dozen downed trees that you have to navigate under/ over. Some compact snow 1 mile from the mailbox. The downhill will take you about half the time it took you to go up.
I’d highly recommend getting there around 6-8 am for parking. Bring TP and hand sanitizer in case the toilet is out, otherwise, enjoy the hike!
