Trip Report

Dickey Creek, Story Creek — Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway
Stuart Range

From the Dickey Creek trailhead, we crossed Dickey Creek on a newish looking bridge, followed the Storm Creek Rd for a bit before connecting to Story Creek Rd. Followed a decommissioned road to the top of the ridge between Dickey and Story Creek. Found a nice spot with decent views of the Stuart range a bit over 2 miles from the trailhead.

Road Conditions. Bare road, surrounded by compact snow (which made parking a little bit tricky). The vault toilet at the summer trailhead (¼ mile off the main road) was locked.

Trail Conditions. Thin, hard-packed snow on (most) of the trail. Didn't need snowshoes or traction.

Crowds. Some old snowmobile tracks, but didn't see or hear anyone all day.
