After our snowshoeing adventure, I went to check out the Narada Falls.
one of my favorite ones in the entire park.
0.1 mile only but while going on, you need to be extremely cautious.
I'd say this small stretch was more dangerous than the entire snowshoeing trip we did earlier.
I put on my Microspikes there, and carefully went down using my poles. there were a couple places where running water froze and that part was absolutely diabolical.
Even with my spikes on, I went sideways to step on some loose snow. That frozen section looked ominous to me.
But worth it, I and another hiker in our group; we were the only one there.
The falls is magnificent, Partially frozen. The base of the Falls has so many layered icicles and the rock formations at the bottom too were frozen completely!
We even heard a massive sound of an Icicle breaking and falling into the water.
Going up was fine, with the spikes got enough traction!
I selected gear and expertise recommended - as this hike is so short, and many people might wanna go to see the Falls without proper gears.
