Loved this hike! Peekaboo views of the Olympics through the trees on your way up. There is a rocky outcropping at 1.5 miles with a rope to help climb and I highly recommend checking out the view there. The summit itself is treed but can see Baker and Shuksan through a small gap. For the best viewpoint, continue another 0.5 miles on the Snow Creek trail to a lookout with some flat space to have lunch. The viewpoint is indicated on Gaia. Back at the summit we followed the rocky ridge line NW, didn’t really get to a viewpoint but fun little traverse. Some snow at the summit, otherwise no snow on trail since the snowpack is so low. Only saw two other parties out there, had the trail to ourselves most of the day!
