After we ate lunch we meandered the trail to the Natural Arch to see if there were many wildflowers in that area. Very few flowers seen. Bob said the area was "well seasoned" as the main flower seen was salt and pepper. A few grass widows and 2 prairie stars were also seen. The plank bridge across the creek to get to the arch has been removed and the forest service workers we talked to before hiking the Universal Access Trail told us they hope to eventually put in a "real bridge" across the creek.
