Today up the I-5. East on Hgw 2. Left at Coles Corner on Nf7906. Keep going passing Lake Wenatchee on your left for another maybe four miles and you will see a Ranger Station on your right. Turn right up the road just before the station. We missed it and turned around in the Ranger parking lot. Drive up behind the building and you will see the Trail head on your left. If you go as far as the next building you are gone too far. The hike up was tiring enough in spots. The trail hadn't been used too much this year so far. The bush had grown out onto the trail, This was a good help to swat away the mosquitoes, well at least from your arms and legs. You walk along a part of an old logging road for a part. Flowers are in bloom right now and the views on the way up were great. We got to the top in 2 hours and 22 minutes of walking. About 4.5 miles. On the top you can see great views of the other mountain peaks off in the distance. While this may not be our best hike this year it is well worth the trip. Oh and the Mosquitoes descended down on us at the top like a bunch of Vampires. We had the "Juis De Mosquito" which let us eat lunch in peace. Going down took us 1 hour and 45 minutes. The reverse views were great too.
