With my mother (a fan of waterfalls) in town visiting, we thought she would enjoy a stroll up to Twin Falls. We were treated to lots of Spring flowers, including Pioneer Violet, Skunk Cabbage, Oregon Grape, Trillium, Springbeauty, Corydalis, Palmate Butterbur, Bleeding Heart, Salmonberry, Flowering Current, and most exciting of all, Wild Ginger (a life flower for us....about 1000 feet before the fenced-off Old Growth Fir, on the uphill side of the trail...there were 5-6 flowers in one small area). A lovely place, and the falls were beautiful!
