Thought I'd give YAB a try to see what the snow conditions are at higher elevations. Lower portion of the trail is in fine condition, starting to get a little overgrown thru the switch backs but that will be taken care of by WTA work parties this weekend (July 9 & 10). At .85 miles there are two sections of a 24"+ diameter tree across the trail, smaller tree and limbs at 1 mile and a larger one at 1.1 miles. Hit snow at 1.25 miles and it's solid from there on. Made it to just before the trail junction and decided it wasn't to smart to continue on as a solo hiker. But a great workout and a beautiful day!
