Day hike
The road to the trail head was filled with potholes requiring careful and slow driving. This said and followed, it was an easy access to a wonderful, short day hike. The day was warm & sunny, with just enough shade during the morning hours of our hike to be comfortable, and relatively "bug-free". The trail was snow-free, except for a few patches near the top, old look-out site. The views were stunning with 360 mountain peaks.The wild flowers were magnificent, and having a hiking member who really knows the flowers made it even more special.
