Palouse Falls — Monday, May. 2, 2011

Eastern Washington > Palouse and Blue Mountains
looking into the falls
Palouse Falls is high on my list since I discovered it through the WTA website. So for this vacation period I included it in my schedule. What can I say about Palouse Falls that hasn't yet been said in any trip report. It is impressive. I hiked down to the falls, enjoying the rapids to the north as well. At the falls the wind was very strong so I had to be careful. I continued the trail in order to get down to the lower level at the falls. unfortunately it started to rain, so I decided to hike back.
what a site, what a sight!

This doesn't look like the 45 mile sheep drive high route that is located in the Entiat drainage, going over Borealis Pass from the Snowbrushy Creek trail and then descends to the Entiat River Trail.
