Central Cascades > Blewett Pass
We knew that there was a high probability of finding snow on the roads, but we decided to try this out hike anyway. We made it a few miles past where FSR 9716 meets FSR 9712, but had to park the car due to a large amount of packed snow on the road that had slid down from the mountain above. What a shame! If we could have made it past that 1/4 mile of snow, we likely could have made it all the way to the trail head. We walked up a mile or so to see what we could find, but didn't feel up to walking the additional 5 miles to the trail head. Oh well, we might try this trail again in July once you can drive all the way up. INCREDIBLE views though, so not a total waste!
