Beautiful! arrived at trailhead a little after 6 am first ones there! trail is a little muddy and lots of runoff. probably one of my most favorite hikes since i started hiking. views are incredible! forest , streams , and then the lake! speechless. warning we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of snow the last quarter mile to the lake . be careful on way back out and follow pink flagging tape. also caution about random holes in the snow , saw a gentle man walking then disapear up to his waist!
