The trail was marked by a temporary sign but the trail seemed pretty maintained the first couple miles. We brought bugspray, but after crossing the creek, the bugs ate us alive. We were more afraid of running out of bugspray then water. When we got to about 4700 feet, the snow covered the trail. We spent an hour (four of us) trying to find where the trail was, but got too tired and turned around without seeing the view at the end. Not very fun. It probably would have been a better hike if the snow wouldn't have been there, the bugs wouldn't have been bugspray-resistant, or there was less mud.
