Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Hiked to the summit of Mt Si in the early afternoon with dog and two children (5 and 10 yrs). They found the trail interesting and diverse with lots of fun climbs and rocky clambers. The trail was fairly busy with many dog walkers and a few trail runners. The weather was still, clear and cool with good views from all the lookouts. Trail was well signed and maintained with evidence of a few tree-falls that had been recently cleared. One log remains over path which the kids enjoyed jumping over. There were a few areas of mud and some patches of ice beneath leaves. A few fungi were still in evidence. The trail is at times rocky and it is worth watching your footing due to scree on the path.
