Walked the Beaver Lake and Temple Pond loop and up to the view point at Lord Hill park early on day light savings Sunday 3/11/12. The birds were really active, red winged black birds at Beaver Lake, an owl of some sort and a big raven who I startled while it was sitting on a crag out in Temple Pond, . Quite a few folks arriving as I was coming back to the trail head, (many with off leash doggies running all over - tsk tsk.) The trails were quite wet but you could tell the trail crews had been working hard to open drainage slots and all the blow down had been cleared - thanks much.
