Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Stay well inside of the sketchy cornice as you walk the ridge
Most of this trail is in great shape considering all the avalanche damage it took over the winter. That being said where the trail still needs work...it still needs work. Limbs and trees are down about a 1/4 mile in and you need to follow the pink ribbons if you want to stay on course. I ran in to a couple hikers out in the middle of the debris field on my way back down and had to point out the trail to them. If you pay attention you should be fine. It rained all day but thankfully you are under pretty good cover for most of the trip. Once you break the tree line the trail leads you into a snow field where poles are a great help, crampons aren't necessary but wouldn't be a bad idea and if you plan on glissading bring your axe(its a bit bumpy but still fun). Follow the other boot prints and head up up up. Once you reach the top be careful the entire ridge is one long cornice. 2 1/2 up and 1 1/2 down good work out and great hike, enjoy!!
Great scenery on the way up
Snow field on the way up
The debris field from an earlier avalanche

two ridges

The ridge pictured above is the wrong one. For the correct ridge, hold to the left after entering the snowline. The one on the right is narrow and dangerous. Of course, if it is not raining and you can see the lookout that always helps. :-)

More than One Granite Mountain

I think you posted a report about Granite Mountain along Snoqualmie Pass, but you posted it on a different Granite Mountain's webpage. Just an FYI.
