Upward view on the South Hill Trail of Elger Bay Preserve
I wanted to go to Mt. Baker, but had to settle for a short hike on Camano Island. The Elger Bay Preserve has several interpretative trails that are in good condition. The views across Elger Bay on the way to the Preserve are impressive. Camano has many interesting trails that are good winter hikes. Happy Hiking New Year. More images below.

Elger Bay Preserve Trails

This preserve is behind the Elementary School on East Camano Drive just past Dry Lake Road. There are 1.5 to 2 miles of trails.
