Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area

Based on prior reports and the weather advice of Cliff Mass, we headed out in search of a good hike and some sun. We got both, plenty of it in fact! Though fog carpeted the low lands, it didn't take long before we were in sunlight. The trailhead parking lot was reasonably full, we parked in the overflow. The lower parts of the hike were a bit slippery, but nothing a sturdy pair of shoes couldn't handle. The upper elevations were just beautiful, a bit cold on the north side but lovely and warm at the summit! We ate lunch up there, admiring the view, and moon that had peeked out, before heading back down. All in all, it was a great day spent on the trail.
