Quincy Lakes, Dusty Lake — Saturday, Apr. 20, 2013

Central Washington > Potholes Region
View of the lake and surrounding cliffs from our camp site.
Perfect weather during this trip to Dusty lake - sunny and mid 60s all weekend. It was a bit windy the first night but that's to be expected in Eastern Washington. While there saw the following wildlife: wild turkey (walking along dirt road leading to the trail head), Jerusalem cricket, northern scorpion, and a few tree frogs. Would recommend this trail for beginning backpackers. If you're adventurous it's possible to make it up to the top of the cliffs; this is well worth it as the views are incredible!
