Beautiful day on Bandera, with plenty of blooming bear grass and wildflowers. There is one log to walk across above a stream fairly low on the trail. The boulder field after the fork is always a challenge, but the views of Rainier rewarded. There were more bugs as we ascended, and sometimes it was difficult to concentrate on finding your next step on the rocks when there were insects trying to bore into your ears. Pretty hot out in the open, but very pleasant in the woods on the descent.
