My photo showing the glorious day at the Basin.
I do not remember a hike with so many splendid views and so little effort. It will be nice to extend a little bit beyond the trail and see wonderful views of the valley. I had a round trip of 7.4 miles and hit at 6,251 ft with a gain of 1,968 ft.
My photo taking at 6,251ft a 0.5 mile beyond the end of the trail.

Wrong Glacier Basin?

It looks like this is the Glacier Basin near Mt Rainier rather than the Glacier Basin off the Mountain Loop Hwy. Nice pics, anyway!
