North Cascades > North Cascades Highway - Hwy 20

This hike is incredible. Amazing views from the trailhead. The approach to cascade pass is forested for the first half. Encountered a marmot family on the talus along the way. Trail seriously climbs once over the pass. But the scenery is one of a kind and the climb to high camp is a must. Encountered lots of other hikers, to be expected with such an accessible high country hike, but no goats. A bit disappointed, but the weather and mountains definitely compensated. Got a bit of much needed rain on the way down
