Lord Hill Regional Park — Friday, Dec. 27, 2013

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
The Beaver Pond Trail.
For my last hike of 2013 I chose to head out to Lord Hill Park because I am very familiar with it and it's a nice place to hike when you don't have the time to get all the way out to the mountains. I hiked the Beaver Pond Trail to the Pipeline Trail, then along the Temple Pond Loop back to the Pipeline Trail, then followed the Pipeline Connector back to the Main Trail and the parking lot. According to the maps posted throughout the park, this route is about a 5 mile loop. All of the trails are in great shape right now with no obstacles to note. There is a little bit of mud in some places but nothing that can't be navigated around.

Gonna try hiking Lord Hill Park on Saturday just to do something local. Beautiful pics. I love the center pic of the Temple Pond. Lovely.
