Lower Falls Creek Trail — Tuesday, Apr. 22, 2014

Southwest Washington > Columbia River Gorge - WA
Upper and middle tiers of Falls Creek Falls as seen from the trail near the viewing area
Two forest service vehicles were parked at the TH when we arrived. The men had just returned from clearing logs from the trail. Today was "bring your child to work" day so they had young children with them. This is a good trail for families with children as long as you watch them in the falls area. The trail is 3.4 miles RT. The three-tiered falls is SPECTACULAR! There were not many flowers, but Oregon anemone, calypso orchids, and red-flowering currant were seen.
