Obstacles on trail:Muddy or wet trail.
Nice hike. It start gently in the rocky Nisqually River bed with a scenic log bridge crossing. It then goes gently in the forest and start going up half way through. You'll find the falls just when you start being bored going up.
We did the hike with 3 to 9 yo kids without issue. It's a bit muddy closer to the falls.
Do the extra yards to the madcap falls.
