Colockum Pass Road — Sunday, Jun. 1, 2014

Eastern Washington
I drove up Colockum Road about 6 miles once you hit the dirt road. I recommend driving a vehicle that has good ground clearance and depending on the time of the year 4 wheel drive. I found a place to pull over and then with my a friend and my dog we hiked the road for about 2 miles up. There were some wild flowers starting to bloom. It was a very hot day. The Terran was rocky, i would recommend boots that support your ankle. Also be on the look out for rattle snakes. We saw 2 while on the hike. It was a nice hike I recommend this hike to anyone who wants to soak up some views.
