Except for a few muddy places in the first mile, and a couple of blow downs this trail is in good condition. Lots of creeks to cross. We decided to be safe and not cross the one near the end of the Goat creek trail because we couldn't find a safe place to cross, although it looked like others had been doing it. We enjoyed this hike, lots of flowers blooming, and there are so many waterfalls! The largest is Cathedral Falls and it is beautiful! We also went on the Tumwater trail to a nice little no name lake. Very peaceful hike (except for roaring waterfalls), no other hikers there until we got back to Cathedral falls where we passed another group of hikers. Great day!

Great trip reports!
I love reading where wild women of the forest has been hiking. So cool to read about a group that gets out and hikes together regularly. Glad that you had a good time at Goat Creek -- that waterfall is so cool.
